After the JEV decision model entered the stack, the question stopped being "can a model decide" and became "can the deciding model be mine". Researching self-hosted, open-weight decision-model alternatives and building a personal quant system on top — self-use first, product maybe later. Three-part series starts on the blog today.
Fusion day. The five-subdomain fleet (chat / cli / quant / shui / anchor) 301'd into aeox.uk — four Node processes converged into one Next.js platform. go.aeox.uk stays as the goods hub. Two domains, zero tracking. The full map lives on the hub page; the long version is on the blog.
Finished moving the override pattern out of me/ and into the shared package docs. The corporate, lab, and me sites now share tokens, atoms, and i18n helpers. Each keeps its own voice. The total LOC for shared design system is under 600 lines, which is the right size.
Three repos would have been simpler to start. Three repos also would have been three places where tokens.css diverges. The monorepo is more setup now, less drift later. That trade is worth it for a one-person team with three sites.
Tried Next 15 for two weeks. The DX is good, the deploy story is good, and the bundle is bigger than it needs to be for a static site. Astro gives me the same templating with zero runtime. Going back.
